Audi A2 e-tron

Priority Ordering Window Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply when a customer pays a EUR500 priority ordering payment for access to the Audi A2 e-tron priority ordering opportunity. Please read these terms and conditions before priority ordering.

1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions (Terms) apply when you pay a EUR500 priority ordering payment through the Audi Ireland website (www.audi.ie) or any related Audi Ireland online reservation page for the Audi A2 e-tron priority ordering window.

1.2 These Terms explain what the priority ordering payment gives you, how the priority ordering window works, how you may request a refund and how any later vehicle order will be handled.

1.3 By paying the priority ordering payment, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms.

2. Who is responsible for the priority ordering arrangement

2.1 The priority ordering arrangement is made between you and the Audi dealer selected by you during the online reservation process. The selected Audi dealer receives and holds the EUR500 priority ordering payment and is responsible for refunding it in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 Audi Ireland is a trading division of Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited, of Block C, Liffey Valley Office Campus, Dublin 22, D22 CF60. Audi Ireland operates the Audi brand in Ireland and may provide or arrange the online platform used for the priority ordering process.

2.3 Eyefall Limited may support the online platform as a technical service provider. Eyefall Limited does not sell the vehicle to you and does not receive or hold your priority ordering payment.

2.4 The payment page, payment confirmation and order confirmation should identify the selected Audi dealer. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the payment confirmation as to the dealer selected by you, please notify Audi Ireland or the selected Audi dealer promptly so that this can be corrected.

3. What you receive for the EUR500 payment

3.1 The EUR500 payment gives you access to a priority ordering opportunity for the Audi A2 e-tron ahead of the general market launch.

3.2 The priority ordering opportunity allows you to engage with your selected Audi dealer about placing a vehicle order during the priority ordering window, once the priority ordering window opens.

3.3 The priority ordering opportunity does not oblige you to purchase a vehicle. You may request a refund of the EUR500 priority ordering payment at any time before you sign a formal vehicle order with your selected Audi dealer and the EUR500 is applied against that order.

3.4 The priority ordering opportunity is personal to you. You must not sell, transfer or assign it to another person without the prior written agreement of the selected Audi dealer.

4. Important limitations

4.1 The priority ordering payment is not a vehicle order. It is not a vehicle purchase agreement. It does not create a binding obligation on you to buy an Audi A2 e-tron.

4.2 The priority ordering payment does not guarantee allocation of a vehicle, production of a vehicle, a production slot, specification, equipment, final price, delivery date or availability of finance or trade-in terms.

4.3 Information, images, specification, equipment, pricing and expected timings made available before or during the priority ordering window may be indicative only and may change before you decide whether to sign a formal vehicle order.

4.4 Any final order for an Audi A2 e-tron will be subject to the separate vehicle order documentation and sales contract agreed between you and your selected Audi dealer.

5. Eligibility

5.1 You must be at least 18 years old and resident in Ireland to use the priority ordering process as a consumer.

5.2 Audi Ireland and the selected Audi dealer may decline or cancel a priority ordering arrangement where they reasonably believe that the process is being misused, that the details provided are inaccurate, that the payment is unauthorised, or that accepting the arrangement would breach applicable law or internal compliance requirements.

5.3 If a priority ordering arrangement is declined or cancelled under clause 5.2 and no formal vehicle order has been signed, the EUR500 priority ordering payment will be refunded to the original payment method unless the payment provider or applicable law requires a different treatment.

6. How the online process works

6.1 You will be asked to select your preferred Audi dealer and provide the information required to process the priority ordering arrangement.

6.2 Before you pay, you should review your details, the selected Audi dealer, the EUR500 payment amount and these Terms. You should correct any error before submitting your payment.

6.3 Your request to access the priority ordering window is an offer to your selected Audi dealer. The contract for the priority ordering opportunity is formed when you receive an email confirming that your priority ordering request has been accepted.

6.4 If your request is not accepted, or if payment is not successfully processed, you will not receive access to the priority ordering opportunity. If money has been taken from you in those circumstances, it will be refunded to the original payment method.

7. Payment

7.1 The priority ordering payment is EUR500.

7.2 The EUR500 payment is paid to and held by your selected Audi dealer. Audi Ireland and Eyefall Limited do not receive or hold the EUR500 payment.

7.3 Payment will be processed through an authorised payment provider. Audi Ireland, Eyefall Limited and the selected Audi dealer should not receive or store your full card details.

7.4 The priority ordering payment becomes valid only when the selected Audi dealer receives confirmation that the payment has been successfully processed.

7.5 The selected Audi dealer may rely on the payment provider, card issuer and other payment participants to process payments and refunds. Neither Audi Ireland nor the selected Audi dealer is responsible for delay caused by your card issuer, bank or payment provider, provided they have taken the required steps to process the payment or refund.

8. Service Plan

Complimentary Audi Service Plan offer is available to customers who place a fully refundable deposit for the Audi A2 e-tron during the promotional period, subject to the following conditions:

8.1 Customer must have placed an approved online deposit and subsequently complete the purchase of an A2 e-tron.

8.2 Can only be activated against the purchased vehicle.

8.3 Service Plan is non-transferable.

8.4 Available to retail customers only.

8.5 Offer subject to availability and any campaign volume limitations that may be agreed.

9. Refunds

9.1 You may request a full refund of the EUR500 priority ordering payment at any time before you sign a formal vehicle order with your selected Audi dealer and the EUR500 is applied against that vehicle order.

9.2 Refund requests should be made through the online process, where available, or by contacting your selected Audi dealer using the contact details provided in your confirmation email.

9.3 The selected Audi dealer will process approved refunds promptly and to the original payment method used for the priority ordering payment, unless that is not possible or a different method is required by law, the payment provider or your card issuer.

9.4 The refund will be for the full EUR500. No administration fee or cancellation charge will be deducted from the refund while your payment remains a refundable priority ordering payment.

9.5 If the priority ordering window is cancelled, if the priority ordering opportunity cannot be provided, or if the Audi A2 e-tron launch does not proceed, the selected Audi dealer will refund the EUR500 priority ordering payment to you.

9.6 If you do not place a vehicle order during the priority ordering window, the selected Audi dealer may contact you to confirm whether you wish to retain the priority ordering opportunity, cancel it or receive a refund. The final process for expiry of unused priority ordering opportunities will be confirmed before launch.

10. Priority ordering window

10.1 The dates and duration of the priority ordering window will be notified to you when they are available.

10.2 During the priority ordering window, you may contact or be contacted by your selected Audi dealer about placing a formal vehicle order for the Audi A2 e-tron.

10.3 It is your responsibility to engage with your selected Audi dealer during the priority ordering window if you wish to place a vehicle order. Access to the priority ordering window does not guarantee that a vehicle order will be accepted.

10.4 Audi Ireland or the selected Audi dealer may change the dates of the priority ordering window where reasonably necessary, including because of launch timing, availability of product information, system readiness or other operational reasons. If the change is material and you do not wish to continue, you may request a full refund before signing a formal vehicle order.

11. Vehicle order and purchase agreement

11.1 A vehicle order is separate from the priority ordering arrangement. A vehicle order is formed only when you and your selected Audi dealer sign or otherwise validly enter into the dealer’s formal vehicle order documentation.

11.2 The vehicle purchase contract will be between you and your selected Audi dealer. It will not be with Audi Ireland, Volkswagen Group Ireland Limited or Eyefall Limited, unless the vehicle order documentation expressly states otherwise.

11.3 When you enter into a formal vehicle order with your selected Audi dealer, the EUR500 priority ordering payment may be applied against the amount payable under that vehicle order. Once applied, the treatment of the EUR500 will be governed by the terms of the formal vehicle order and applicable law.

11.4 Before signing any vehicle order, you should review the final vehicle specification, price, estimated delivery timing, payment terms, cancellation terms, finance terms and any other applicable terms with your selected Audi dealer.

12. Changes to vehicle information

12.1 The Audi A2 e-tron may be subject to changes before order opening, production or delivery. This may include changes to name, specification, equipment, colour availability, pricing, production timing, delivery timing or availability.

12.2 If material information changes before you sign a formal vehicle order, you may decide not to proceed and may request a full refund of the EUR500 priority ordering payment.

13. Communications

13.1 Audi Ireland and the selected Audi dealer may contact you about the priority ordering arrangement, the priority ordering window, your selected dealer, your refund rights, and information reasonably connected with your possible Audi A2 e-tron order.

13.2 Service communications about the priority ordering arrangement are not marketing. If you choose not to receive service communications, the priority ordering arrangement may not be capable of being administered and may need to be cancelled with a refund.

14. Data protection

14.1 Audi Ireland, your selected Audi dealer, Eyefall Limited and the relevant payment provider may process personal data in connection with the priority ordering process.

14.2 The personal data processed may include your name, contact details, selected dealer, reservation status, payment reference, refund status, communication preferences and related customer-service information.

14.3 Personal data will be processed to administer the priority ordering arrangement, process payment and refunds, communicate with you, manage dealer follow-up, maintain records, deal with complaints and comply with legal obligations.

14.4 Further information about how your personal data is used, including the roles of the relevant organisations, legal bases, retention periods, recipients, international transfers, your rights and contact details, will be set out in the applicable privacy notice presented during the online process.

15. Customer responsibilities

15.1 You must provide accurate information during the priority ordering process and tell your selected Audi dealer promptly if your contact details change.

15.2 You must not use the priority ordering process for unlawful purposes, for resale or transfer of the priority ordering opportunity, or in a way that interferes with the proper operation of the platform.

15.3 You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to use the payment card or payment method used for the EUR500 priority ordering payment.

16. Cancellation or suspension of the priority ordering process

16.1 Audi Ireland or the selected Audi dealer may cancel, suspend or amend the priority ordering process where reasonably necessary for launch, supply, legal, regulatory, technical, security or operational reasons.

16.2 If the priority ordering process is cancelled before you sign a formal vehicle order, the selected Audi dealer will refund the EUR500 priority ordering payment to you.

16.3 If only part of the process changes and you do not wish to continue, you may request a full refund before signing a formal vehicle order.

17. Liability

17.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

17.2 Subject to clause 17.1, Audi Ireland, Eyefall Limited and the selected Audi dealer are not responsible for losses that are not a reasonably foreseeable result of a breach of these Terms.

17.3 These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

18. Complaints and queries

18.1 If you have a query about your priority ordering payment, refund request or selected dealer, please contact your selected Audi dealer using the contact details provided in your confirmation email.

18.2 If your query relates to the online platform or the Audi A2 e-tron priority ordering process generally, you may contact Audi Ireland using the contact details provided on the Audi Ireland website.

18.3 Audi Ireland and the selected Audi dealer will work together to route your query to the appropriate party. This does not change the selected Audi dealer’s responsibility for the EUR500 payment and refund where the dealer has received and holds that payment.

19. Miscellaneous

19.1 If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

19.2 Audi Ireland and the selected Audi dealer may update these terms before launch. The version accepted by you at the time of payment will apply to your priority ordering arrangement, unless a change is required by law or is more favourable to you.

19.3 These Terms are governed by Irish law. The Irish courts will have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these terms, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
